Based in Litchfield, Connecticut, Jeff Summa and the Roasters are a psychedelic jam band with a deep, diverse sound fueled by dueling guitars and a symbiosis that generates a fat, cohesive jam vibe. Pumped-up keys and horns round out the sound and a hard-driving, thunderous rhythmic section of bass & drums hold it all together. The combination delivers a unique fusion of sound that swirls dynamic patterns of rock, blues, jazz & funk into dance-friendly grooves and positive energy.
The Roasters' live shows now focus on fan favorites from their 2019 album Open Road Ahead along with tunes from their latest release, Who’s Got My Lighter. Accompanying Roasters’ originals, the band also breathes new life into songs from artists who influenced them, such as The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd and Traffic.
